7 Dragon III: code VFD is a side sequel to 7th Dragon 2020-II. Total fourth installment of the fantasy RPG '7th Dragon' series of SEGA. To the platform the Nintendo-made game machine becomes first film since 'Seventh Dragon', which was released in 2009. It is the final chapter of the world story.

7th Dragon III Code: VFD is the third installment in Sega's dungeon crawling JRPG series, and will be the first to feature an English localization. In the year 2100, mankind continues to be locked in a desperate struggle against extraterrestrial beings known as dragons that has spanned 20,000 years. The dragon known as 'VFD' has appeared in post-apocalyptic Tokyo, and it's up to the player to assemble a team of warriors to investigate past, present and future in order to uncover the truth behind the 7th Dragon.

Gameplay

Players form a party of three characters they create from a selection of 8 classes, each with their own unique abilities and advantages:

Shining Force Neo is a 'hack'n' slash' action RPG for the Playstation 2. Shining Force Neo plays drastically different from the previous Shining Force sub-entries. The battles, instead, take place in real time with the player in control of the main character, Max.

Furthermore, players can also customize their characters' appearances and voice; the game features the voice talents of a host of acclaimed Japanese seiyuu (voice actors) including Tomokazu Sugita, Nana Mizuki, Mamoru Miyano, Daisuke Ono, and many more. All Japanese voice acting samples are retained in the localized English release.

The player party is based at the Nodens HQ, where characters can build relationships with fellow team members and participate in a variety of activities including managing a cat cafe. Parties then sortie on missions to explore dungeons based across three different time periods: modern-day Tokyo, mythical Atlantis, and futuristic Eden. These dungeons are filled with enemies and powerful bosses that players must defeat in turn-based combat with 3D models for both player characters and enemies.
